I'm a control and automation engineer with masters in mechanical engineering. I started to use LaTeX in an undergraduate research, and it rapidly became clear that LaTeX would be much more useful for me than the old methods in MS Word.

As I constantly use Matlab to teach and to work with numerical data, it became a natural step to start connecting Matlab and LaTeX.
