For questions regarding the default list of all apps on the Android device

The App Drawer, as opposed to the launcher home screens, lists all apps installed on the phone. Unless enhanced by OEMs and/or carriers, the App Drawer simply lists all apps in alphabetical order and does not allow for any other organization. (That is what home screens and app folders are for.)

With the advent of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) the app drawer also contains a list of available widgets. These are after the list of apps, but there is also a tab that can be tabbed to jump to the widget list.
