New to Blender, just started about 4 months ago. Have always wanted to learn 3D modeling in my spare time.

I actually have found it most useful to build 3D concepts for use in work-related powerpoint presentations (vs drawing 2D shapes in powerpoint). Takes longer but a much bigger impact.
