Why can't I delete this texture slot?

Question

I can't delete a texture slot. For some reason I don't have the X button there or minus. There's not even a delete option and I don't know what else I can do.

Solved: After a few hours i found an answer, it was just holding a shift while selecting unlinking.

If you try to delete it in edit mode it won't let you. Make sure you're in Object mode.
