Default render output folder

Question

I rendered an intro template and I don't want to have to render it again. If I didn't select an output folder, where would the file end up?

If I remember correctly the default output is C:\tmp folder.

The files save to the path set in the Preferences window

@ShadyPuck By default, the files go into "C:\tmp", even though the answer is not very detailed or convincing, it is an acceptable answer and might just be exactly what BrocolliForest wanted to hear. It definitely doesn't require clarification from the asker. – Leander Sep 30 '16 at 23:03
I tried but i don't think it went to the default folder so i don't know where it would've went so i think i'll just render it again – BrocolliForest Oct 01 '16 at 00:26
