I've used Linux for over a decade, and am passionate about science education and research.

I have varied technical interests including data science, Linux and networking administration, algorithms, advanced math, as well as reading and writing good code. Currently I'm interested in a number of technologies including OpenStack, Python, GlusterFS, Git and in general technologies that increase productivity, security, and dependability in a computational open source (Linux/BSD) computing environment. I enjoy technical challenges that require a good deal of complexity and varied skill sets. I have a degree in computational and theoretical physics which I'm currently professionally underutilizing and am trying to correct for. I am committed philosophically and pragmatically to a life of science.
