Aloha, I live in Hawaii. Summer all day everyday. Though it's not all paradise. The philosphy of true hawaiians are living outdoors. Our modern homes are our shelter for belongings and visiting friends and family. As an avid outdoors man and single mom, my house will need lots of DIY. Im great at DIY due to living the island, farm and sea life...you need to survive the elements. Coming out of the third world stage due to 3 hurricanes we now have lots of construction and not your common wood and tin roof. But Im not to pay an arm and a leg for the price of hotel maintenance construction costs.
