I'm a young woman who just started living on her own (in the sense that I no longer live with my parents) with one of her best friends from high school. I recently graduated from a two-year college with my Associate's in Arts degree; I'm on a temporary break from school and hope to resume my educational pursuits in a couple years. I'm an ethnic studies major; I love anything to do with culture, traditions, folk lore/tales/legends/myths, religions, languages, music, etc. I studied Spanish all four years of high school, and took German my two years of college. I hope to learn as many languages as I possibly can for it is my dream to one day backpack around the world. I love to read, listen to music (singing along horribly off-key to it), watch movies, hang out with my friends and family, and tease my roommate's cat. I am very much an otaku-I love anything Japanese, but especially manga and anime. I also enjoy the occasional video game (my favorites being Guitar Hero, Kingdom Hearts, and Serious Sam). I don't yet know what I want to do with my life (in terms of a career), but at the moment, I'm considering becoming a high school counselor. I love animals. And more importantly, I love to eat animals (slightly joking). I'm a Christian, but believe that, for the most part, all religions teach the same basic principals and that all gods are just different versions of the one true God.
