Returned to school to finally, finally, finally complete my Computer Science undergrad degree. A friend tells me to keep pushing because it's fun, which is a concept that scares the heck out of me. I would never have accepted the challenge had I not read "mindset" by Carol S. Dweck. I was one of the "smart kids" in school -- skipped 2nd + 6th and was asked to skip 11th -- and I thought a person was either smart or not. When I didn't get a perfect score, I was a failure and there was no point in trying. If I had to expend effort to study, then I wasn't smart. I was wrong! Science proves that anyone can increase their intelligence through effort. I thank everyone who responds to my questions here for helping me in that effort. :)
