iSCSI - SCSI over IP - mount disks across the network

iSCSI is Internet Small Computer Systems Interface, and is a standard for sending SCSI commands across the IP layer of the TCP/IP suite.

Unlike ATA over Ethernet, (ATAoE) iSCSI allows you to use the same network link for mounting remote storage as well as communicating with the rest of the network.

Is there a standard or generally accepted way of naming iSCSI targets? If not a sole standard then maybe a few? Or, is it simply entirely up to the administrator to name them as they wish? I'm quite open to recommendations and to hear what others…

Intel Pro 1000 Adapters iSCSI, boot device and LACP

I'm currently testing iSCSI with Intel Pro 1000 PT DualPort adapter. The performance is pretty well but is it possible to combine both ethernet ports to have a true 2Gbit link for the boot device? Intel documentation doesn't explain this.
