I've dabbled in A/V as a hobby for most of my life, but I've never done it professionally. I'm now in a situation where I am the leading sound technician at my church, so I need to do things in a more professional way. Unfortunately, I'm the most knowledgeable person around, so there's no one else to ask when I have dumb questions. I'm hoping that this community isn't averse to my novice questions, because I'm sure I'll have plenty of them.
