How to make two table parallel to each other in two column paper?

I am trying to make two table next to each other in two column page, I am using this example 1 but tables are coming like this

Second, I am using this example to make one table but it's coming quite big, I tried to use \scalebox{0.5} but it's not working.

How I can make this table small?

I totally understand that you want the two small tables to show up side by side. But what about the alignment with respect to the surrounding text? You mention a twocolumn document class in your question. Should both side by side tables fit inot a one of the two columns or into both columns? sorry for incomplete information, I am looking for two tables to fit each table in single column, so both table will look side by side but each one will be in separate column. In a two-column document, you can use the strip environment, from package cuted, to be locally in one-column mode. — Bernard, Sep 24 '20 at 19:06

Regarding "There are 6 columns in each table" : your two example tables only contain three columns each. What exactly did the "6 columns" refer to? To the side by side tables or to the individual table in the third screenshot, which in itself, just contains five columns. If you want to add more columns later, it makes more sense to show a minimal working example (MWE) that already includes all columns and their contents. How to make sure a table fits into the textwidth depends a lot in the documentclass, font and margin size and of course the actual contents of the tables. — leandriis, Sep 24 '20 at 19:20

This depends on the contents of the tables. Please update your question to show what you want to put inside of the additional 3 columns. How to make sure a table fits depends not only on the margin and font size, but of course also on the contents of the table. Without seeing these, I can't give you a more specific advise than the code in my answer. in simple words, I have data with 6 columns in each table. What is the best way to display them? when those two tables are having same column but repeated for different models. for example those six columns are Accuracy, f1-score, Precision, Recall, domain accuracy, overall this is content of one table, Now I have to show this same table for two model's result. Again, how to fit a table into the available space depens entirely on how much space is available. How much space is available depends entirely on the documentclass, the font size, margin size,... As of now, you did unfortunately not yet disclose this any of this information. Please provide a minimal working example (MWE). Please also show the code for the table you have in mind. How will the contents of the cells look like? Will they contain text, numers, single words...? Are you allowed/willing to to reduce the font size in the table or add linebreaks in the column headers? Without this information, others can't give you specific advice.
