The A0 paper format is defined by ISO 216, which specifies international standard (ISO) paper sizes used in most countries in the world today (with the United States and Canada as the main exceptions). "A" series metric paper has an aspect ratio of the square root of two, meaning that all sizes are the same shape. The series runs from A0 (841 mm × 1189 mm) to A10 (26 mm × 37 mm). The most common is A4 (210 mm × 297 mm).
