He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from METU, Turkey, in 2011 and 2014, respectively. From 2010 to 2014, he was with Aselsan, Inc., Turkey where he was working as an R&D engineer at the Department of Electronics Design. Between August 2014 and November 2018, he carried out his PhD at the Department of Electric Power Engineering, NTNU, Trondheim, Norway. He attained his PhD degree in June, 2019. He is currently a research scientist at SINTEF Energy Research. His research interests include power electronics, renewable energy, subsea connectors, and high voltage equipment and insulation materials.
