I consult and do research in the areas of: piezoelectric transducers and actuators, vibrations, and applications of embedded systems. I teach courses in vibrations, dynamics, and controls, and am the developer and instructor-in-charge of a senior-level laboratory course on mechanical engineering systems that 100+ seniors take every semester.

When not doing the above, I'm most likely riding one of my bicycles (road, mountain, or cyclocross) or hauling my son and teammates to a soccer practice or match. Oh, and I'm a tenor in the local Episcopal church.
