How can I change the space between lines in theorem?

Question

I am using the amsthm package. I need to change the space between the lines of the paragraph in the body of the all theorems only in the theorem environment and not in the other parts of my report..

How can I define the \newtheoremstyle for this purpose? or any other option?

Modifying the plain style paramenteres, (see this answer by egreg), you could add \onehalfspacing (or \doublespacing) from setspace package.

Edit: I don't know how to set the linespacing exactly in cm, but you can put any value you want in \setstretch{...}.
