I am making a beamer presentation and would like to show some data analysis images for different countries across the world. Is it feasible to create hyperlinks within an image of a geographic map?

I would ideally like a world map outlining each country as follows; the countries for which I do not have data will be blank whereas the countries for which I do have data will be filled in with the color red. I would like to be able to click each of the red countries to automatically go to a slide with my data analysis images (with a beamer button on the data slides to go back to the world map).

Is this feasible?

A not very beautiful solution can be the following (further informations in the code):

\documentclass{beamer}
\usepackage{tikz}
\usetikzlibrary{svg.path,math}
\tikzset{mapScale/.style={scale=0.5,yscale=-1}}% in the svg file the coordinate are upside down therefore yscale=-1

%Europe countries borders (for a more clean code this can be put in a separete file) %the svg file with the borders coordinates is take from https://simplemaps.com/resources/svg-europe %open the file with a text editor and copy and paste the boreder of the nation of interest %Italy \newcommand{\ItalyBrd}[3]{% \pgfsetstrokecolor{#1} \pgfsetfillcolor{#2} \pgfpathsvg{M602.6 595.6l-1.2 2.5-2.8 4.3-1.5
