I have a .tex file. If I compile it produces a PDF with figures at the last. Now what I want to do is, if I compile it should produce two PDFs, such as one PDF without figures and other with only figures. How can I do? i use Texnic center. The below is my code. If I compile the below code, two PDFs should be created; one without figures (first 5 pages) and other with only figures (last 2 pages!). Please help me how can I do? Thanks. Raja.

A single execution of pdflatex (or xelatex/lualatex) will never create more than one PDF. The subfiles package would allow you to compile one part or the other or separately or together as you chose. Or you can write a script that compiles the PDF and then splits it into two PDFs using pdfjam or similar tool like qpdf or pdftk or even ghostscript. But if you want more detailed instructions on that, it would help (for me at least) to know what operating system you're using, and exactly how you want page numbers to be handled. – frabjous Aug 13 '22 at 11:53

  • Thanks for your reply. Operating system: Windows 8.1 pro; 64 bit (no license). If you compile the code, you will get a single PDF with page numbers, except the drawing page, i.e. the last 2 pages. I just want to split the drawing page alone as one pdf and the rest as another pdf. – rajini Aug 13 '22 at 17:39
  • The easiest is to open the PDF, choose Print, select the pages you want, then "print to file" or something similar (it can be called differently depending on the PDF viewer that you use). – Marijn Aug 13 '22 at 18:10
