How to Insert Figures in the Header and Footer?

Question

In my university, they require us to use this figure in the header of the poster,

and this one at the bottom.

Why didn‘t you tag tikzposter? Why did you tag float? You neither have any, nor do you want some, do you? Why didn‘t you specify the theme explicitly? — MS-SPO, Feb 08 '24 at 18:29
For me I just want to write my poster with Latex since many other will write it in Microsoft Word. But I need to keep the same header and footer like the other — Student, Feb 08 '24 at 19:16

The image in the header can be placed with \node[below,inner sep=0pt] at (0,{\paperheight/2}) {\includegraphics[width=\paperwidth,height=5cm]{example-image-a}}; and similarly for the footer.

Code related to insertlogo was removed.

The option titletotopverticalspace=7cm is given to the command \maketitle.

Note that in the question, there is \LARGE{<text>}. It is better to write {\LARGE <text>}, as explained for example on \bfseries bolds more than intended.

@Student The block of the title can be removed by removing \maketitle[titletotopverticalspace=7cm] and replacing it by \makeatletter \setlength{\TP@blocktop}{.4\textheight} \makeatother, as in the answer on https://tex.stackexchange.com/a/413939.
