I've been using LaTeX since late 1993 or early 1994, and have since branched out to TeX (only very, very rarely), METAFONT (but only twice so far), pdfLaTeX and recently XeTeX and XeLaTeX, which I adore (I'm a Unicode whore). This makes me a newbie compared to some, but I love to typeset. Initially I used LaTeX for academic reasons, but since the Nineties I've been using it for everything from letter and CV writing to menus for bars.
