• I have developed software, personally and professionally, since 1965, especially real-time machine control, factory supervisory and global corporate IT system/application development.

• Last project before retirement was a business-critical support and dispatch system with global scope for a Fortune 20 corporation. Developed Version 1.0 single-handed. Application was used for over 10 years before retirement in favor of a COTS system. The users still prefer mine. :)

• I also used to develop hardware but that was a long while back.

• (Formerly) proficient in Assembler (several architectures), K&R C, Perl 3-5, SQL, PL/SQL, FORTRAN II, IV, 66, 77.

• Unix since AT&T (Bell Labs) released Version 7 (Including HP-UX, System V R[II, III, 4.0], Solaris, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux)
