Off and on LaTeX user since 1980's now using TeX and Friends for preparation of fiction for publication.
Writer of fiction and and other prose.
I have developed software, personally and professionally, since 1965, especially real-time machine control, factory supervisory and global corporate IT system/application development.
Last project before retirement was a business-critical support and dispatch system with global scope for a Fortune 20 corporation. Developed Version 1.0 single-handed. Application was used for over 10 years before retirement in favor of a COTS system. The users still prefer mine. :)
I also used to develop hardware but that was a long while back.
