I work in physics (partly quantum, mostly classical) and engineering applications, and teach at a university. I use LaTeX for research and educational materials, since ~1995. I'm an "advanced beginner" in LaTeX: A slowly evolving one. I'm rarely satisfied with vanilla solutions; I typically prefer (re)configuring things to suit my needs better.
