Buttons allow users to directly trigger an action or activity in a software solution, and is a concept borrowed from its physical counterpart in its digital design. A button performs actions in a user interface, and is often labeled with text or icons accordingly. Often it is linked directly to a call-to-action, or an invitation for the user to trigger a desired action in the interface.
